Good thing that the longest day is followed by the shortest night, since that is the night that Mica decided to mostly stay awake.
I think we all sorta exacerbated our colds at the Solstice Picnic. It was a wonderful time… on the beach at Seward Park, watching the sun set behind the city’s skyline. Kids stuffing themselves with cookies, throwing rocks in the lake, climbing into the woods, riding bikes and racing down the path. Parents standing around yakking.
But the picnic wasn’t what I wanted to tell you about. I wanted to tell you about this website I found when I was up at 2 AM holding Mica:
